This term in Nursery our topic is ‘Plants and Flowers’.  Last week we were seed detectives: we tried to find the seeds on or in a variety of fruit and vegetables.  We found seeds by cutting open a pepper, tomatoes, melon, cucumber and sugar snap peas.  The strawberry was a little more confusing- we cut it open but there were no seeds inside.  Upon closer inspection Brianna found seeds on the OUTSIDE of the strawberry.  We didn’t manage to find any seeds on the potato and carrot, I wonder why this was?

We have been welcoming lots of new families into our Nursery and enjoying playing with new friends. Outside we have been busy setting up an ice-cream palour, take a look at the picture of Beau with his very own ice cream seller outfit!
