Here is the Home Learning Matrix for our Autumn topic of Space, The Final Frontier!

The aims and objectives of Home Learning are:

1 to enable pupils to make maximum progress in their academic and social development;

2 to help pupils develop the skills of independent learning;

3 to promote cooperation between home and school in supporting each child’s learning;

4 to enable all aspects of the curriculum to be covered in sufficient depth;

5 to extend educational experiences outside of school;

6 to consolidate and reinforce the learning done in school, and to allow children to practice skills taught in lessons;

7 to help children develop good work habits for life

8 to stimulate proactive learning that is imaginative and creative.

Please aim to complete at least 2 tasks from the Home Learning Matrix each half term, in addition to spelling, Reading, Hegarty Maths / Mathletics and Timestables homework.
