The Year 1 classes had a brilliant time at the National Portrait Gallery.
A real artist taught us about some of the famous masterpieces and we discovered how to find out more about a portrait by using the clues in the painting. We even had a go at transforming into some of the people in the pictures!
We thought about the things we could include in our own self-portraits to tell our viewers more about us.
Despite the rainy weather, both classes had the chance to explore Trafalgar Square and see the famous statues.
Thank you to the parents who accompanied us on our first trip of the year.
