We have been lucky to receive a loan of microscopes from the Royal Microscopic Society. It was great fun exploring how to use microscopes on Day 1 and looking at how everyday materials and objects look differently to when we use the naked eye. We couldn’t believe how terrifying ordinary things such as insects, and even the skin on our hands, looked when enlarged under the microscopes!

On Day 2 we examined meteorite samples and used scientific language to describe and compare them. Take a look at Alyssia’s wonderful drawings and descriptions!
