Today we explored sound. We made telephones using string and plastic cups. We stood far away from each other and realised that the string needed to be pulled tight otherwise we couldn’t hear each other properly. This meant the string was able to pass the sound along with vibrations. When the string was loose, we couldn’t hear our partners clearly.
