Today, Year 5 tested a variety of different materials to see which would cause the most friction. To do this, we pushed toy cars across the materials and measured the distance they travelled. We took into consideration the force exerted on the push of the car, so, we decided to include a ramp for the car to fall along. It was really interesting looking at all of the different materials and we each made our own final judgement.
