What a day our World Book Day was! It was a whirlwind of books, authors, parades, prizes and Book Doors. Speaking of which, the winner of the Book Door in KS1 is…Year 1. Their James and the Beanstalk that stretched between the two classes and even featured the giant in the sky was imaginative and creative. In KS2 the winner is … Sicily, for they’re tribute to the book – The Iron Man, complete with both 2D and 3D robots. They captured the sombre, industrial mood of the tale very well.
