Last week, some children from Jamaica Class were fortunate enough to visit the Barbican Centre, where they presented their very own poems! As part of the Young City Poets programme, the children produced their own poems based on a trip to Keats House in Hampstead Heath. Not only did they perform their poems in front of an audience, but their work has also been published in an anthology! Zahra, Tomor, Selina and Amy did a great job and didn’t let their nerves get in the way.
