This week we went on an exciting trip to a real pirate ship called The Golden Hinde.  We were lucky enough to meet a real pirate on the ship, who showed us around and told us what life was like for pirates nearly 500 years ago. We had a chance at steering the ship, and tried on some real pirate clothes. We had to be really careful not to hit our heads on the low ceilings on the lower decks of the ship!

Our teachers took lots of photos while we were there, and when we got back to school we were very busy looking at the photos and writing sentences about our trip.
