This week we received another letter from a pirate, asking us to make him a map so he could find some treasure.  We have been busy drawing maps of our own and using our knowledge of phonics to label them.  In maths we have been using words such as ‘left’, ‘right’, ‘forwards’ and ‘backwards’ to describe direction and movement.  We were very busy programming a little robot called Bee bot to make him move around a desert island to reach the treasure.  We had to remember to avoid the crocodiles!
