To end our topic ‘Let’s Celebrate’, children in 1T studied various festivals and how people celebrate them. One of the ideas that came up, was Henna being used in celebrations. The children really enjoyed looking at the different designs and got to design their own onto hand prints. Using their designs, they then painted on their Henna patterns onto their partners. They thoroughly enjoyed the experience and they took their time to create beautiful designs.
