Well done to Ben and Oliver in year 6 who have created a fantastic animation for Manchester University’s Animation 14 competition. They used the skills they have learned in Code Club to use Scratch to create a short film based on Martin Luther King. They decided to choose him after learning about various inspirational historical figures during their IPC topic ‘Champions for Change’.

Both boys worked very hard on this project and the results show this. From the superb computer drawn Martin Luther King to the complex code they wrote to bring it all to life. Now we just need to wait and see if the judges of the competition deem it worthy of a prize.

Well done boys, regardless of the outcome of the competition we’re proud of you and your work.
