The Brecknock Saxons were left dishevelled and  powerless after the  invasion by William, Duke of Normandy and his enthusiastic, loyal soldiers!

Year 4 have been looking at the book ‘Invasion’ to inspire their writing. After crafting their own swords and shields, the children recreated the Battle of Hastings on the Brecknock roof, before creating their own comics and recount of the day.
