On Thursday and Friday the Nursery went on a trip to Hampstead Heath.  We took the train from Camden Road to Gospel Oak then went in search of some exciting creatures.  After walking to the ‘Secret Garden’ we listened to the story of ‘The Bugliest Bug’, went on a minibeast hunt through the woods and did some pond dipping.  During our woodland hunt we found spiders, ants, woodlice, ladybirds, slugs, snails and a frog!  The pond dipping was very exciting, we found newts, water boatmen and leeches as well as many more fascinating creatures!  To end the day some of us went to the playground and some of us played big running games on the heath.
