We have just started our new topic, Food.

In this topic we will be learning stories off by heart such as The Enormous Turnip and The Hungry Caterpillar, acting them out as well as role-playing cafes and supermarkets.

We will be cooking different foods and watching how they change such as boiling an egg, making jelly and melting ice cream. We will find out where food comes from and the types of food that we eat on special occasions such as birthdays and Eid. The children will grow some of their own food and we are looking forward to eating it at a picnic!
