To begin their new literacy text, ‘The Lonely Beast’, Year 2 enjoyed some drama activities. These included freeze framing a key page from the story and performing the beginning of the story as a group with actions and emphasis on key vocabulary. This process allows the children to familiarise themselves with the text and internalise the language.
