It’s that time of year again, and every class at Brecknock is busy creating a piece of artwork for the hall.
This year the theme is ‘journeys’. Sicily class felt inspired by a piece of work created by a teenager called Neha Ray. It shows a group of people on a journey to peace. It reminded us of the current refugee crisis and all the dangerous boat crossings people have had to make.
The children each made their own figure, and filled it with patterns and colours inspired from flags around the world.
