Reception Class went on a Winter walk before half term. It was bitterly cold but we wrapped up and walked across to Clock Tower park to look at the winter trees. We noticed some evergreen trees and bare deciduous trees.
We looked for birds and saw that there were not many berries for them to eat.
We spotted some nests in the trees and a family of hungry pigeons.
When we got back to school we identified the birds we had spotted and made bird feeders. We hung the bird feeders in the playground.
Thank you to the parents who braved the cold to come with us. Perhaps you would like to join us next Tuesday for a Spring walk?
