Year 6 discussed the way young people share images online, and reflected on the potential negative and positive consequences to this. Together they discussed how important it is for young people to ‘be the change’ and to help others share images positively to make the internet a better place.

They started with a quiz, then they had a discussion around the consequences of sharing different types of images and finished with each person creating a set of considerations you should make before sharing an image. Below are some of the final outcomes. The teachers had a hard choice but eventually chose three that will be laminated and displayed permanently in the classroom as a reminder to all.
