Year 3 had the most fantastic book week! They took part in so many activities including:
-Drop everything and read! This involved all the children and staff. We all sat together with our books and Kindles are read independently.
-The children created sock puppets, like from the story ‘Odd Socks’.
-Year 3 read with Nursery and used their sock puppets in action!
-They created book bunting.
-The children posed questions for Mr and Mrs Twit and made illustration pages about them and collected key vocabulary.
-They made Mr Twit beards and took part in a catwalk in costumes.
-But probably the most exciting thing that happened was a surprise visit from Mr and Mrs Twit!!
