Today  (Monday the 27th of March) we celebrated RE Day throughout the school.

We studied Judaism, Islam, Christianity, Sikhism, Buddhism and Hinduism with each year group conducting research and taking part in activities inspired by their appointed faith.

The theme this term was ‘Empathy and Compassion’ and we all focussed on how these religions are built around respect and care for others. We discussed emotions a lot today also and how there are no good feelings or bad feelings, there are just feelings and it is correct to feel many different emotions. We did many empathy based games and activities and some research into our appointed religions.
