We have been watching an animation called ‘Baboon on the Moon’.  At the end of the film the Baboon is very sad and he sits on the moon, playing the trumpet whilst looking at the earth.  We had a chance to play a horn in Nursery, it was a bit like the baboon’s trumpet.  It was quite hard to make a sound but we managed it by pressing our lips hard together and blowing through them into the mouthpiece.

Some of us built our own moon landscape using different materials from the Nursery.  Some children also decided to make astronaut packs so they could launch themselves to the moon.
