Last half term, as part of their ‘Living things and their habitats’ topic in Science, the children of Cuba became botanists!

They put on gloves, grabbed magnifying glasses and dissected lilies to identify the different parts of a sexual flowering plant (which has both a male and female part and is not genetically identical to its parents).
