Last week, Az invited his band to play at a KS2 assembly. The band showcased their talents, and then invited staff (Sue the Headteacher!) and children (Ramla Y3, Idris Y6) up on stage to play along, culminating in a metal version of ‘happy birthday’ for the band’s drummer!

It was a wonderful celebration of how metal can be for everyone, and how working together with other people of different genders and religious beliefs can create something special.  All children enjoyed it!
