It has been another busy week in Reception and this week we have been planning a ‘Jungle Dance’ party! We have been practising our counting and using strategies like lining objects up and using our fingers to touch each item. This was really important when we needed to count up how many animals would be coming and more importantly how many scoops of chocolate to add to the rice crispy cakes!

We used our funky fingers skills to make the snakes look very fancy, decorating them with jewels and natural resources. And of course we had to make sure we looked smart as well so we put on our dresses and wrote our own princess name tags.

Got to dash, we need to practice our animal dance moves!
