CalAid are a group of volunteers collecting urgently needed donations for those living in the Calais refugee camps. a number of Camden school, including Brecknock are going to be setting up collection boxes on Tuesday 14th June. CalAid will then collect from all the schools on the next day, Wednesday 15th.
CalAid are specifically looking for 5 items of food:
- Tinned fish
- Tinned tomatoes
- Tinned kidney beans
- Tinned chickpeas
- Small bottles of oil
It is really important that we collect just these items as anything else will hinder the distribution.
At Brecknock we have always come together as a community to support those in need and we know this time too you will help us to make a difference.
