Last week we dressed up as sparkly Christmas characters and performed a medley of songs to our parents.  We were amazing performers!

On Friday Alex’s Mum came and cooked Christmas biscuits with us, we mixed up the ingredients to make dough, then rolled the dough and cut out Christmas shapes.  Once the biscuits were cooked we spread colourful icing on them and sprinkled them with decorations to make them look beautiful.

Some of us have been very interested in making pretend fires so on Friday afternoon we created a real fire in a kelly kettle.  We all helped to post sticks down the chimney of the kettle to keep the fire going.  Everybody understood the importance of staying safe and calm around a fire and we learnt how to put the fire out using water.
