Today was Brecknock Debate Day. Our motion was ‘This house believes that rubbish should be sent up to sapce.’ It was a lively debate with good arguments presented by both sides. The audience asked some tricky questions of both teams but the speakers never lost their cool and answered very well. In the end the vote was tight. The motion was narrowly defeated by the opposition with the audience deciding that they felt rubbish should not be sent up to space, choosing to go with the opposition argument that more should be done to reduce rubbish and recycle. Well done to everyone who took part and the audience for listening so attentively.
