For the entry point to our brand new topic, Earth Our Home, Year 2 went into the hall to explore different types of habitats.

We discussed ocean, desert, polar and rainforest habitats and the kind of living things we find in each place. Then had some hands-on experience of the sights, sounds, smells and textures of these different environments.

We can’t wait to find out more about the different places people and animals can live, and how they adapt to their habitats.
