The classes have been thinking about history and geography, and learning how electricity has changed how we live.
We compared life in London, to life in a rural village in Peru, exploring similarities and differences.
To see how it has changed our homes, we visited the Geffrye Museum in Hoxton.
The children explored the museum and were confident at spotting and explaining how the rooms were different and why. Although the 1990-2000 room may not have looked that modern to the children, they could see clearly how electricity has changed how we live, and what we have in our homes.
We were lucky with the weather, so had a picnic lunch on the grass outside. We enjoyed the sunshine before travelling back to school.
