STOP THE PRESSES!

Anyone who came in to school today will no doubt have been as surprised as we were to discover we had had some mysterious visitors over night who had left what can only be described as ‘Giant Eggs’ in our playground.

What looked like a nest with two very large eggs were on the playground along with two further eggs up the trees. Not to mention footprints of various sizes (all very big!) crossing the playground and around school. Whatever creatures left them they had had a good look around the school – both inside and out!

We have no idea how the creatures got here or what they were.

We were lucky to have the quick response of the local police on hand to take witness statements and carry out investigations. We were also given some ‘guidance’ by scientists from the ‘University of Weird Science’!

Every class helped in the investigations and some had some valuable information they were able to pass on. There was lots of fabulous discussions taking place and superb writing which we will share with you in time.
