At Brecknock we are committed to helping children’s learning. We are currently evaluating our home learning policy and this term we have trialled a new home learning approach, the ‘Home Learning Matrix’.

Throughout this half-term, your child (all year groups except year 6) has been asked to choose and complete at least two home learning activities out of a possible nine.

The emphasis has been on children independently choosing and exploring what they want to learn, and creating quality pieces of work to share with the rest of the class! We want children to see ‘home work’ as learning at home!
