Well done to class 4A who were the first class to take part in the Brecknock ‘Hour of Code Week’ activities. They had a go at using block coding to help a very angry bird find the bag piggies and save a zombie from being eaten by some very scary looking plants!

A special well done should go to Reuben, Morgan, Zione and Kiarn who managed to code and complete all 20 puzzles that had been set and make it onto the flappy bird challenge.

In the afternoon some of the Reception children had a go at some Apps designed to support the learning of computational thinking and did very well on Bee Bot and the overwhelming favourite, ‘Path Puzzler’. Special mentions to Hanna, Zara and Art who showed real strengths in this type of thinking.

It’s 1B’s turn tomorrow for some coding challenges before the rest of the school on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
