Y3 began their ‘hour of code’ today. We learned some basic coding using characters from the movie, ‘Frozen’. We had to input commands such as ‘rotate 120 degrees’, and ‘move forward 100 pixels’. The children really enjoyed learning how to use these programs, and there is still plenty more to learn. Coding is essential in today’s world, and computer science is at the forefront of most of the technology we use today, from games and apps, to traffic lights!
