We have had a busy few weeks in Year 1! In Literacy we have been building up word banks of adjectives in order to describe how animals look and we decided that the bear in, I Want My Hat Back, has cosy and fluffy fur with curved ears. In Science we have been discussing how trees change over the seasons and the difference between deciduous and evergreen trees.

In order to put these ideas into action we took a walk to Kentish Town City Farm. During our walk we looked at the different colours on the trees and how the leaves are beginning to fall off.   Once at the farm we touched and played with wool, planted freindship plants and stroked fluffy goats.
