Year 3 have begun reading their new book ‘Iron Man’. In the opening chapter, the author described the Iron Man has having a head as big as a bedroom. Year 3 went on the roof playground and worked out how big they thought this head was based on the size of their bedrooms and then tried to imagine how big his whole body would be. Timur estimated that he was the length of the playground if he was lying down. To try and work this out, the children lay across the playground and Timur looked up to see what it would feel like to be beside such a monstrosity. Great fun was had by all.
