Year 5 are journalists in the making!

This week, the children looked at a variety of newspaper articles. Next, we are planning our very own newspaper reports about strange events that took place in a little town in Germany. Before we could start our reports we took a look at a variety of different newspaper articles that have been published in First News. We enjoyed reading the different stories and quickly realised that the headline needs to be interesting to catch the readers attention. We also decided that the subheading needed to summarise the events of the report.
