Year 5 received the following invitation:

‘We invite you to take part in a unique workshop to create your own pieces of beautiful glass, inspired by images of the human body under the microscope. Suitable for all ages, our free workshops, led by glass artist Susan Purser Hope, will make connections between art and science.

After being fired in Susan’s kiln, the pieces made in the workshop can be taken home or displayed in your school.’

Of course, we accepted the invitation! Susan will be coming to Brecknock to hold the workshops with both Year 5 classes on Tuesday 3rd December. We cannot wait!
