Children in Year 2 have worked tirelessly since the term began in maths. The focus has been on place value and really thinking about what a number looks like using different resources, how that number can be represented e.g 72= 7- +2 or 72 = 50 +20 + 2 and how we can use < and > to order and compare numbers. What a fantastic start to the year!
