Today in year 5, we have been learning how to separate mixtures of solids. There was a catastrophe in the stock room when a shelf fell and all of the science and cooking materials mixed together. So, We have been separating flour, sand, rice, pasta, sawdust, raisins, paperclips and much much more, to try and get all of our resources back in the right jars.
