Some of the boys spent the most part of a fine spring afternoon making ‘Dragon Soup’ in our mud kitchen.
There were deliberations, suggestions and some degrees of compromise whilst adding water, plant roots (discarded from our vegetable patch prep earlier that morning) snail shells, cucumber and beans.
They mixed, poured, sniffed, tipped and began over again to perfect their dish.
