This half term’s topic is Treasure. So far the children have made props for role play such as daggers, eye patches, pirate hats and pirate watches. They wore these at a pirate parade party where they showed off their costumes, sung pirate songs and performed the Pirates Ahoy story.

Over the next few weeks we will be doing a range of activities including learning about islands and oceans, reading pirate books, making our own treasure maps, counting pirate coins, sharing our personal treasure and making pirate boats too.
