The Nursery had a wonderful trip to the Tate Modern art gallery. We explored a variety of different installations and spaces in the gallery. The first room we went in to was completely blue, as we moved through the room spotlights switched on. We decided to stay very still to see if we could get all the lights to go out, we managed it once! It was very exciting (and a little scary) sitting in a pitch black room!
At the end of our visit we took the lift all the way to the 10th floor. We stepped out of the lift to a magnificent view of London. Many of us were able to spot various London landmarks such as ‘the walkie talkie’, the shard, the gherkin and St. Pauls cathedral. Have a look at the photos and see which London landmarks you can spot. What was your favourite part of the trip? Which was your favourite piece of art?
Thank you to all the parents and carers who were able to accompany us on the trip. You were all a great help and we couldn’t have done it without you!
