Contagion by Spike Milligan

Performed by Order of Phoenix: Vera, Zoe, Jaime, Sharnelle and Sahra C

During guided reading sessions a poem is practiced and performed to the rest of the class daily (a new initiative to Brecknock this year) . The children in ‘Order of Phoenix’ were the last to perform our poem of this week – Contagion by Spike Milligan. They took on board all of the strengths and areas for improvement of the previous groups and independently performed this after 20 minutes of rehearsals.

It was so good we demanded an encore so we could film it and put it on the school website to share … watch out for performances of different poems from other groups soon.
