On Friday, we had our first workshop on Romeo and Juliet. We looked at the prologue…

“Two households, both alike in dignity,
In fair Verona, where we lay our scene,
From ancient grudge break to new mutiny,
Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean.”

We divided ourselves into the Montagues and Capulets. Then we fought, insulted and embarrassed each other until the Prince called for peace.

“We are the Montagues,
Check out our football shoes!
We are the Montagues,
We’ve got our eye on you!”

Next week…the Capulet party! NO MONTAGUES ALLOWED!
