We had a fabulous sports day today on Hampstead Heath. We started off on the grass next to the lido for the traditional school sports day activities. There was lots of brilliant teamwork on display with older children helping out the younger ones – it was lovely to see. After lunch we moved onto the running track for the individual races. The weather was fantastic as were the children. The last race of the day saw a battle of the titans between Daire, our year 3 teacher and Zione’s (year 6) dad. They couldn’t be separated and after 100m of blistering running it was called a dead heat!
