Year 5 took a trip to the Imperial College last week, where they became mini scientists! The children participated in a workshop all about light and learnt about refraction. After that, they had a workshop on states of matter, which was really interesting as the children had a go at melting chocolate. They were later introduced to liquid nitrogen which was fascinating! To finish off the day, they watched ice cream being made with the liquid nitrogen, which tasted delicious!
