Nursery spent a fantastic sunny day on the heath.  In the morning we went tree climbing, played running games, built dens and explored the grass for flowers and insects.  After a big picnic lunch we walked to the ‘magic tree’.  This very special tree is hollow inside so we were able to climb in and look right up inside the trunk, it was bit like a cave.  Some of us thought it might be the home of a giant.  At the end of the trip, after a very long walk, we still had energy to challenge ourselves on the playground equipment before taking the train back to Nursery.
