As part of our Topic Year 2 took another trip into the city to explore The Tower of London.

We learnt more about the Great Fire and showed off our performing skills.

After sheltering from the rain we explored the walls of the tower and loved finding out about it’s history.

Did you know that in the past the Tower has been home to a range of animals – even a polar bear!The muzzled and shackled polar bear would be led from the Tower and tethered to the Thames riverbank, from where it would fish for food and wash itself. Imagine that!
