Year 2 went to Camely Street Natural Park to learn about habitats.
We were taken on a ‘nature trail’, and learned about the four main habitats we expected to find at Camely Street. These were the meadow, woodland, pond and garden. We learned how animal adaptations allows different animals and insects to thrive in different habitats.
Later, we even had the opportunity to do some pond dipping, which was great fun! We found all sorts of insects in our trays – but we needed a magnifying glass to see some of them!
We were even blessed with some sunshine, which made our day even more enjoyable!
